Gary Bauer

Director of Solar PV Roofing Division – Senior Solar Consultant

Gary leads ONTILITY’S Solar PV Roofing Division.  With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Gary is a hands-on solar professional.  He has consulted and trained on over 19 megawatts of thin-film, crystalline racking and ballasted solar projects in the United States and Canada.  Gary has extensive knowledge in roofing, construction and solar and provides technical support and training to ONTILITY's network of contractors. He ensures that jobs are installed using best practices for solar system installation. Previously, Gary was the Director of Technical Operations for an international solar distribution company where he trained, wrote technical information for installation manuals, maintenance manuals, installation protocol and created contractor solar tool box and warranty protocols. He conducted product testing of tapes, coatings to modified, tapes to EPDM/TPO, and concrete coating testing for Europe. Prior to working in the solar industry Gary ran Bauer Construction Company and Bauer Roofing & Siding, Inc.
