ONTILITY will be the Largest US Stocking Distributor for Suniva® Solar Modules

HOUSTON, TEXAS (February 15, 2011) – ONTILITY has added Suniva to its list of premium manufacturing partners. ONTILITY and Suniva are teaming to offer Suniva's high efficiency and quality, U.S. made modules. ONTILITY will be the largest stocking distributor for Suniva Solar Modules in the U.S. market. ONTILITY is planning to maintain a consistent, sizeable inventory of Suniva modules, as it is an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) compliant module. Additionally, ONTILITY will use Suniva modules in many of its industry recognized and accredited solar training course and programs. Suniva's newest line of solar cells is achieving conversion efficiencies of more than 19 percent, which is a record for screen-printed cells in full-scale production. Suniva is the first PV manufacturer to successfully leverage ion implantation, a technology widely used in semiconductor manufacturing, in the mass production of solar cells. By employing this technology, Suniva has the ability to compete with high-efficiency PV manufacturers such as SunPower as well as with low-cost, lower efficiency Asian manufacturers.
