Q.SMART solar modules (formerly Q-Cells SL) offer the world's best efficiencies of up to 13 % for thin-film modules in mass production - making it currently unbeaten by any other thin-film module on the market. The high yields of all Q.SMART modules are a result of the outstanding behavior in low and oblique light, the favorable temperature coefficients and advantageous cell geometry in the case of partial shading. Q.SMART solar modules provide excellent output even on flat roofs or in locations that are unfavorably aligned. Positive sorting of the power classes in +5 Wp increments further optimizes the output.
Q.SMART modules are for a broad range of applications and can be easily installed. Furthermore, the increased reverse current resistance minimizes wiring efforts. High break resistance and precision design also facilitate installation. The reliable "Made in Germany" quality and the superior design qualify them for the use in rooftop installations and building integrated installations where visual aesthetics are of prime importance.
Q.BASE solar modules deliver reliable yields, especially on large area installations. They stand out due to their good efficiencies, outstanding low-light performance, and particular durability. When installing a solar power plant, the balance of system (BOS) costs are a decisive factor. Q.BASE modules have good prospects for keeping such costs to a minimum. They are compatible with all the latest, commercially available standard inverters and mounting systems, and simplify the system's design. The extremely high reverse current carrying a capacity of up to 25 A enables three module strings to be connected in parallel, thus reducing the required wiring effort.
