Inverter systems are delivered pre-configured and pre-tested in rugged enclosures, significantly reducing on-site wiring and testing. PVI-STRINGCOMB
The string combiner box PVI-STRINGCOMB is an ideal complement to the Aurora PVI-CENTRAL family of inverters that ensures the same control and monitoring accuracy of the PV generator typically achieved with string inverters. The individual string currents are accurately measured with 'hall effect' sensors. Any mismatch is promptly detected by the system supervisor and communicated to the inverter to allow for quick identification of any fault of the solar panels. All string combiner boxes include surge protection with removable elements as well as fuse protection for each couple of string channels. It is available with an optional fully-integrated DC switch, fuse and remote controlled DC disconnect function.

Power-One's turnkey solution allows large installation customers to select their power inverter solution to be custom-fitted into a prefabricated weather-sealed cabin to allow for simple and speedy installation in the field. There are many tailor-made options available for rated power between 440kW and 1320kW. The major benefit of this product is the high power-low space ratio and its ability to configure to specific customer requirements such as topology of grounding or multiple MPPTs. This product maximizes efficiencies and reliability by using the new Aurora Central inverters, mineral oil insulated MV transformers, and gas insulated MV switchgear. The modular format of the Aurora central inverters along with a unique easy-out, easy-in rack system allows for simple maintenance in all weather conditions.

The new Aurora 300 Watt micro-inverter product offers something new to Power-One customers. The ability to individually link all modules within a specific installation is an alternative to the traditional Aurora string inverters Power-One is famous for. Micro-inverters have some advantages over string inverters. They allow you to control the panels output individually and offer Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) for each single module. They also allow you to control individual panels in different ways and reduce the losses in efficiency in a variety of challenging conditions.
The new Aurora 300 Watt micro-inverter product offers something new to Power-One customers.
